Meeting Report for 5/20/2009

We were on a roll for a while but our record-breaking attempt was halted by Igor Stasenko being unable to attend this week.  Present at today’s meeting were: Jecel Mattos de Assumpção Jr, Ken Causey, Bert Freudenberg, Craig Latta,  Andreas Raab, and Randal Schwartz.

The one and only topic was once again the mission statement which we want to complete so we can move on to other pressing business.  At the very least we achieved a first draft this time and you should expect to see a published copy soon.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009.

Meeting Report for 5/7/2009

Going for a new record we once more had full attendance this week (Jecel Mattos de Assumpção Jr, Ken Causey, Bert Freudenberg, Craig Latta,  Andreas Raab, Randal Schwartz, and Igor Stasenko).

This meeting focused on a mission statement for this year; we covered little other business.  We made a lot of progress but have more to go before having a complete mission statement ready for publication.  Discussing the mission statement involves considering the near future of Squeak and the Squeak community and therefore includes a wide array of topics.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20th, 2009.  Check back on this site for a preliminary agenda.

Teams Review

As part of our responsibility to the community to guide and nurture the community teams I sent out a simple survey to all current team leaders on April 8th.  A response to this email is required and I set a deadline of May 9th.  Today I sent out a reminder.  If you are the leader of a Squeak community team and did not receive this email (subject of most recent is: “REMINDER: What is the Status of Your Team?”) please contact me as soon as possible.

Expect a report based on this data in the coming weeks.
